Opus OneI drove up to Napa this Sunday. It was nice day
up there. I have been to around 20 different wineries in Napa and Sonoma total
before, but I didn't know about Opus One. A friend told it is really good, so I
tried. I was also told me that Opus One is very popular among the Japanese.
They only had two kinds for tasting, 2001 and 2003. 2003 costs $25 for tasting.
2001 costs $35. I loved both! It's too bad that they only sold the 2001 in a
1.5 litter bottle, so I got the 2003.

From the terrace on the second floor of Opus One, I saw the wine train going by.
Because it was winter, vine trees didn't have grapes.
Besides Opus One, I went to Hess Collection and Mumm. This picture below is from Hess Collection. I liked their reds, and bought a few bottles.
On the way back, I stopped by at Peju, and got some bottles of wine. Posted: Mon - January 22, 2007 at 09:44 PM |
