BonsaiIt was surprising to see how popular Japanese
culture is here in the Bay Area when I first came to the US. Now, it's just
cool to see people pursuing their interests in the
culture.
I saw a little exhibition of Bonsai trees at the Sakura festival in Cupertino last year. I had a little chat with the person who taught a Bonsai class in the South Bay. Some of the trees were really old like 200 years or even more. I liked this one the best in the picture.
The festival is coming up again pretty soon. Posted: Fri - April 7, 2006 at 08:45 AM |
