Izakaya in Los AngelesI am staying in Santa Monica right now. I came
down here to see a D1GP event in Irwindale. Since this Japanese izakaya place,
Musha, is close by, I stopped by for dinner and some
drinks.
( Click on Read More ) Izakaya serves small dishes and a lot of
different kinds of alcohol drinks. It is like Spanish tapas. I ordered shio
tan, salty beef tongue, which most people in the US wouldn't probably like. I
know I know. Anyway, I was very happy to cook it over real charcoals at the
table.
I almost let the restaurant burn down! Nhaaat!
Then, I saw an item described as Japanese escargot. I thought it was asari, small clams. But it was surume!
Anyway, I will write up about the D1GP sometime soon... someday... Here is one picture from the event. It is Nomuken drifting the Skyline! Posted: Sun - March 5, 2006 at 07:32 AM |
