They brought me a Shichrin for beef tongue! This past Spring, I went to Los Angeles to
see a car race. (Yeah, another car race) For the dinner, I searched online for
a Japanese Izakaya place and found a few places with some good reviews. I went
to the closest one. Oh my! The Izakaya place looked so much like Japanese
Izakaya or even more. When they took an order, they shouted "Order
hairimasu!"
I ordered gyutan, or BBQ beef tongue. It came out with a Shichirin!
(Click on Read More) Shichirin is a ceramic burner using
charcoals. There were some charcoals burning in
there.
The beef tongue BBQed on top of this tasted really good! Somebody has gotta do this here in Silicon Valley! I am probably going to this place again in a few weeks. Posted: Sun - December 4, 2005 at 06:48 AM |
