Hot Import Nights! Part 1


I went to a Hot Import Nights event last weekend at the San Jose Convention Center. It was a huge event. The event is about modified cars. Some cars are modified for more speed. Some others are modified for looks. There were a lot of modified cars at the event as well as models.

This model was advertising the D1GP coming up this weekend at Irwindale. She friendly posed for the camera with nice smiles.

There were two big halls with lots of modified cars and some rap music on. There were mainly JDM cars in the first hall that I walked in. The second hall had some European cars and JDM cars. I am going to show you pictures as I walked around.

This is an Honda Accord. It got a Inspire badge from Japan. It's called Inspire over there. It's kind of interesting to see the trunk opening up this way. I wonder if they just put the hinges in a different angle.



This Mercedes has a video monitor instead of a license plate! It was showing Pixer's Finding Nimo.



There were a few video monitors in the trunk as well as some in the room. Is Louis Vuitton popular among the people who dress up cars?



This Lexus IS300 got a big stereo system. I saw more IS300s than before. It got a nice design to start with.



It is very unusual to see Ferrari cars at this kind of event. It is an expensive car to do modification and dress-up.

I asked her to pose for the camera, and she immediately put her leg on the car like this. Look at how much she is arching her upper body... The models at this event are selling themselves more than the models that I saw in other events before.



The color of this car is nice. Which one is it? S13, S14, or S15?
