The passionate driving pleasure, that's what we are pursuing...

The Rear-Wheel-Drive car has got an inline six engine mated with a manual transmission.

What some of us have been missing...
How good it feels to control your car as if it were part of your body
Know how the weight of the car shifts to the front wheels, rear wheels, left wheels, right wheels
Know how the driving wheels are pushing the car
Know using the gas pedal to alter the course of your car on top of using the steering as connering
Know how to keep the engine in the torqu band to get the most power out of it
Know the best gear to go thourh conners
Know how to put all of these into one action

Take on mountains....Touge!
Twisty mountain roads...

Before I say anything, I should probably mention that I am not over the limit.

It is so much fun to toss my car around as I am cornering in really twisty mountain roads.

Performance oriented cars
I don't see many people enjoying their performance oriented cars. This kind of car, no matter 4 door or 2 door, is designed to let us enjoy breaking toward corners as shifting down and accelerating through out corners. Sometimes slide the rear!
It would be fun to push this kind of car around on twisty roads. (Sports cars don't like highways...)
Live for the curve, live for the heel-and-toe down-shifiting!

Don't get performance oriented cars with an automatic transmission!
The money that we spend goes into the performance of the car. We shall enjoy it. If you don't know how to drive a stick, there must be a way for you to get to know how to drive it.

Don't put Sears tires on performance oriented cars!
  It would defeat the purpose...

A few modifications
PLP Silent Flow Intake
This mod is making my engine more eager to rev up. Especially, it revs up so nice after 4000 rpm. The tube doesn't have the little box that the stock tube has.

PLP Air Filter
This air filter lets more air go through. Even with only this mod, it added fun to rev the engine and push the car. I am thinking of trying the TRD air filter and the TOM's air filter.

L-Tuned Exhaust System (Made by Lexus)
The exhaust system has a nice base sound. While it complies with California's modified exhaust enforcement provisions, it is not so loud, which is what I want. The engine revs up smoother now. The exhaust system comes with a L-Tuned version of the IS300. L-Tuned components are developped by Lexus for more performance.

PLP Front Strut Tower Bar (Carbon fiber)
The carbon fiber strut twoer bar should give a little more rigidity to the front of the car and give a quick connering.

Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position
These tires give me confidence to conner harder. When the car starts skidding to the side, the tires let the car skid nice. They don't suddenly lose the grip and let the car lose control. They gradually lose the grip and the car starts skidding under control. When I pass the apex, I can apply more gas and start gainning back the road grip. These tires give me more fun to push my car at conners. They should be stickier than the stock tires, which are the Bridgestone Potenza RE040.

Some info on the tire at TireRack.com
Supercharger, or Turbo (To be installed soon...NO!)
I don't have a plan to have a supercharger or turbo installed yet. The inline six NA engine is just fine with me so far. I should get wider rear tires and rims and a harder suspension system before a supercharger or a turbo...
